Where we can help

Start with what is getting in the way.

Bring a question, a recent test or the topic you are working on. We can help with homework, missed foundations, revision or a change of curriculum.

Retelling instead of analysing

A response needs a claim, evidence and an explained connection.

Build a clear argument

Plan the main point of your essay, then support it with relevant examples and evidence.

Finish within the time available

Practise planning your answers and allowing time to check comprehension, summaries and written work.

Treating courses alike

First-language, additional-language and literature routes assess different things.
